The Real Jesus: The message that got many pastors mad, by Joseph Bourdilon

The Real Jesus

*But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 2 Corinthians 11:3‭-‬4 KJV*

We have proclaimed this message here, and it has gotten a lot of pastors mad. I believe a lot of believers have not seen the real Jesus. There is a lot of deception in Christendom, and many people think they know Christ. Jesus will say to a lot of people "I never knew you." Isn't it tragic to have been in church for 50 years, and at the end of your life when you stand before the judgment seat of Christ you get a big surprise; and He says to you "I never knew you, depart from me you that work iniquity." Well, they said "Lord didn't we cast out demons in your name? Healed the sick and did wonderful works in your name?" No doubt they did all that, but it was a different Jesus. The Jesus that can save you from poverty but he can't save you from pornography.

This is the type of Jesus a lot of pastors in the world are preaching, and many people are on their way to hell and when we talk about it they say we are legalists. I don't care what we are called we want to please God. Today I see a different Jesus in Christendom. This Jesus loves money, he doesn't tell men "Go sell all your possessions and come follow me", he rather tells them "Go bring all your money and come give me." You see, I'm scared of preaching because if I say anything that misleads you, God will hold me responsible, so I'm not proud of preaching one sermon when my life depends on it. Let me read to you what Paul Washer said

*"In the day of judgement, do not be much afraid for the murderers, the prostitutes, the thieves, the adulterers, etc. Be afraid for those who carry the title 'Pastor."*
 - Paul Washer

I believe it 100% because we will give an account for your souls. I said to us last Sunday meeting that its dangerous to be a pastor as much as it is cool. If you haven't seen the real Jesus you would mislead a lot of people. There is a popular pastor on social media now. He lifts people in his church and throws them flat on the ground. He loves money more than any pastor I have seen. The truth is, I have no respect for him because he is no example for me. I'm amazed when I see hundreds of people in his congregation, I'm tempted to think that those people are not in their right senses. In whom the god of this world had blinded their minds, so the real Jesus wouldn't be seen in them.

*For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:5‭-‬6 KJV*

Maybe you are reading this now thinking you have seen the real Jesus. Well, maybe you are like the 90% who are bowing before another Jesus and you don't even know it. I have seen a lot of these mega churches following a different Jesus. How Christendom has so drifted far away from God. But we are called to build the church, and you know you can buy 500,000 bags of cement and never build the church. You can build cathedrals and never build the church. Your ministry can reach the whole world and never get God's approval. Take this seriously brothers and sisters. The real Jesus does not love money, He saves people from the love of money. He saved Zacchaeus from the love of money, but He hasn't been able to save 99.9% of pastors, cos they are lost deep in money. He saves from sexual sin, He saved Mary Magdalene. He saves from compromise, He saved Simon Peter. Has this Jesus saved you? Do you see in your life a hunger for God? Think about it.. let's pray

*Father. I don't want to assume that I have seen Jesus, but I humble myself today to say I might not have seen Him. Show me Jesus Christ like you did for the disciples. Let me see Him in your word, in my life, in my ministry, and put in my heart a hunger for you in Jesus name, Amen!*
