Relationship: My fiancee is religious and denies me sex

Image
By Bunmi Sofola Dear Bunmi, My girlfriend is an official member of a leading Pentecostal church and she takes her religion seriously – so much so that she always recoils at the idea of having sex. She says it’s against the teachings of the Bible. This makes me sad. I am a Christian myself and I go to a reputable orthodox church from time to time. My girlfriend’s attitude is really upsetting me. I know a lot of our religious friends who are happy in fulfilling sexual relationships, why should our situation be different? At times I even wonder if she’s not hiding something more sinister from me. I’ve asked her to reach some sort of compromise by giving me oral sex but she says nothing can be done sexually until we are married. It seems as if she is using her religion as a bait for us to get married. What can I do? If she turns out to be a pig-in-a-poke after we get married, what could I do? THE LIVING WORD DAILY DEVOTION #wallowfoundation 20th August 2015 The final salvation ____________________ Rom 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep: for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we believed. There are three stages of our salvation. 1) At new birth, that's the point where we first believed. 2) Continuous salvation by renewing the mind. 3) The rapture. The new testimony of the church and the spirit of God has pressed us into this truth. It could sound more like "up up from your slumber". But they that sleep do sleep in the night, so why do we wake up even now? Because the night is over spent. Rom 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. I'm not seeking for that day to tarry, because its near than we first believed. This world is not ours, we don't belong here. I paused for a moment and i was as...

"Creativism" - Joseph Bourdilon

A master speech designed t o stir the creative ship of state. Code number - 16.7.2016         As i dance willy-nilly in the music of mysticism; the cranium of socialism and the compendium of sociopsychological realism. I see a butterfly on the streets to asylium. I see the walls of Jerico falling. I see the sons of the philistines in Ashkelon. I have judged life fairly to be a race, but everybody can't be running. We grew with the dogmatism and delusion that our destiny was tomorrow; they called us "leaders of tomorrow", so i was afraid of impatience, and then i became a prisoner of this assumption. They weren't wrong but tomorrow never came; instead we created it. The human race, the extraordinary league of homosapiens. We have lived ages in the illusion that education and schoolism has wrought in our minds. I am not William Shakespeare but i am willing to shake this sphere; the psych-inactive sphere of my world. There wouldn't have been any ...
