Scroll Of The Martyrs: Those who died for a piece of book. Would you die?

Image
Scroll Of The Martyrs  *Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save their life  will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. Mark 8:34‭-‬35 NIV* Comparing spiritual things with spiritual. This is the heart of the New Testament Evangelism, because men were willing to lay down their lives for a piece of book. But before they died they reckoned themselves already dead, because they crucified their flesh before they were burnt at the stake. Those days they sang as they were been martyred for Christ, because they wouldn't say "Caesar is lord." Stephen was been stoned to death, but he said "I see the heaven opened and the son of man standing on the right hand of God." Those days men gave their lives, but today men employ men to guard their lives.  In 1415 Jan Hus was burnt at the stake by t...

2 Dangerous Churches

2 Dangerous Churches * In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. 2 Timothy 2:20 New Living Translation* My goal in life is not to preach sermons. I hope we will be more eager to become more like Christ than accumulating head knowledge. Let these expositions come as revelation; this is why you need to see Jesus for yourselves. I liken two churches as wood and clay, cheap and tawdry. I fear that millions of people in Africa are not aware of this truth. I sincerely pray for them, I do not condemn them at all. There are two churches I'm afraid of attending: A worldly church and a church that emphasizes going to heaven. The second church surprises you right? Because it sounds like a very good church. Let's talk about a worldly church for a moment. A worldly church has great music, fine architecture, financial power, but there is no tr...

Clouds Without Rain

Image
†CRUCIFIED DAILY DEVOTIONAL 🇸‌🇹‌🇷‌🇮‌🇻‌🇪 *Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain. Proverbs 25:14 KJV* *A person who promises a gift but doesn’t give it is like clouds and wind that bring no rain. Proverbs 25:14 NLT* As we seek to make progress in the Christian life; by now I want to believe you have seen the goal. 99.9% of Daily Devotionals in the world are not preaching what we preach here. But we can glory in that thinking we are okay, we need to strive to make progress in becoming more like Christ. A lot of Christian work in the world is clouds without rain; having a form of Godliness but without power. You see, people can organise music concerts and get thousands of people to come, but there will be no true outpouring of the Spirit because its all done in the flesh. We are not here to hold music concerts, I repented of that long time ago. I don't think I would ever hold a concert in my life, and I have hard time going for one.  My reaso...

Spiritual Growth

Image
Spiritual Growth ² *Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:1‭-‬2 KJV* I just want to continue in what we were saying yesterday on this line. I want you to discern your spiritual condition and see if you are truly growing. Do you still have malice, hypocrisy, speaking evil about others, guile or envying? This is a scan for your spirituality. The x-ray shows that you are in a bad condition, and you have need for milk. I find out that these listed sins are mostly committed by church people. They are the biggest hypocrites, preaching what is not true in their own lives, gossiping about brother so and so, envying someone that God has blessed etc. They still attend the meetings, sing in the choir, have a good tithe history but they are not healthy spiritually.  I was a hypocrite just like 99.9% of believers today. I preached what...

Strive To Finish

Image
Saturday, 1 Feb 2020 Strive To Finish * Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1 KJV* Mhmmm, I just took a long exhale. I have been running on a difficult path, I almost fell off the cliff, but I have kept running and I think that's the point. If your path is full of cherries, watermelon and cheese, then you are still in the Olympics; you have not even started running. I hope what I'm about to say will encourage those who are patiently running to finish. If you fall a million times, and yet persevere to finish, I can guarantee you that you will see Jesus. This is for someone who has fallen a million times. I don't know if anyone here has fallen that much, maybe that's me. I can believe that for myself I don't know about you.  February is our month of Pursing After A Life That Pleas...

Dried Bones

Image
Friday, 31 Jan 2020 Dried Bones *The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord , and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,  And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.  And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God , thou knowest. Ezekiel 37:1‭-‬3 KJV* Can these bones live again? You have to be sincere that your life is full of dried bones, then there is hope for you. God loves sincere people. The Pharisees said "We are okay", that's why Jesus couldn't do anything for them. But a sincere publican said "Be merciful unto me the sinner." Every work of the flesh in your life is a picture of dried bones, but when the Lord fills you with the Spirit they will become fruits of the Spirit. Imagine the bones said "O yah, we are okay dried, we don't need any help." Do you think the...

The Big Surprise

Image
The Big Surprise   *But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2 Peter 3:10‭-‬11 KJV* This is the hardest message for me to preach, because it's very difficult to convince people about the second coming of Christ. When you tell people about the coming tribulation, it sounds like Marvel science fiction. The world loves her comfort, nobody likes to be told the whole truth; even so called Christians like to be in a church where half the truth is taught. But woe to them that are at ease in Zion. For when they say peace peace, then sudden destruction will come upon them. We are in the time when our knees need to knock the ground. There is need for repenting of sin....
