I am a prisoner of Christ but many times I tried to escape prison. In the world love sets people free, but for me love kept me in. As I have just neared full recovery I want to appreciate every single one that showed concern. I feel happy to have brothers and sisters who would be there when I need them. There is a need for men to preach burdens. We have too many clever men who own pulpits in the west, and a lot of foolish men who do not study down here in Africa. Divine Healing: Why some are healed and many are not.  *how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Acts 10:38 NIV* There is a question that is commonly asked today, "Is healing for today?" I think its because we don't get to see the same supernatural lines in scripture like walking on water, feeding five thousand people, raising the dead etc. This curiosity has seen many numbers lying dead who needed healing. I believe God still heals, but I don't believe He heals everyone. If you go by Acts 10:38 of course you would want God to heal every sick person, but let's examine more verses carefully. Some people have overcome certain sins, they don't steal or gossip, but there is no joy of the Lord in their lives, they have not entered the promise.
