There is a need for men to preach burdens. We have too many clever men who own pulpits in the west, and a lot of foolish men who do not study down here in Africa. Paul wrote to Timothy "Study to unveil yourself a man approved by God." I started feeling stronger after you began to pray. I woke up this morning feeling positive and optimistic.  I want to encourage you guys to keep praying and let's watch until Monday if I can return to all my duties as an elder brother in our fellowship, and to writing daily devotionals. Divine Healing: Why some are healed and many are not.  *how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. Acts 10:38 NIV* There is a question that is commonly asked today, "Is healing for today?" I think its because we don't get to see the same supernatural lines in scripture like walking on water, feeding five thousand people, raising the dead etc. This curiosity has seen many numbers lying dead who needed healing. I believe God still heals, but I don't believe He heals everyone. If you go by Acts 10:38 of course you would want God to heal every sick person, but let's examine more verses carefully. Some people have overcome certain sins, they don't steal or gossip, but there is no joy of the Lord in their lives, they have not entered the promise. They have escaped the problems but have missed the promise. There is a promise in the New Testament that says "Sin shall not have dominion over you", see Romans 6:14. For many of us this promise is not yet true in our lives. We are not in Egypt, we got out but we are stocked in the wilderness.
